My son and family gave me a 3-year old Meyer lemon tree for my birthday last October (2016). The first buds came in April 2017 and as of September 4 the lemons are a good size. More buds and flowers bloomed over the summer when I put it outside on our pourch. It now has 12 lemons on it out of about 20 some buds.
