Book Review: Big Sky Mountain

Book Title:  Big Sky Mountain
Publisher:  Harlequin
Author:  Linda Lael Miller
Publication Date:  7/24/12
Completed Date:  8/25/12

This is the continuing story of family and freinds in the small town of Parable, Montana. This story is just as good, if not better, than the original "Big Sky Country."

We continue with the life of Kendra, who just adopted her ex-husbands daughter from a previous fling. Why would Kenda do that? How does Kenda change her life to accommodate this little girl?

What about Hutch...he is engaged to be married, to another woman. What happens at that wedding ceremony? Who is this bride?

How is Joslyn doing with her new husband Slade? And her step-daughter, Shea, who is still living with them? Joslyn and Slade have a new baby, what is Shea going to feel like with a new baby in the house?

Lots of happenings going on in Parable! What is Opal up to? Why does she move in with Hutch for a while? What about that new preacher coming to town?

This is a wonderful story, with romance and family life all thrown in together. It is a second book in a series, but can also be read as a stand alone story. I love the fact that there are openings for more books to come.

I received this book free from the publisher for this review. I was not required to write a positive review. These opinions about this book are my own.
